On March 01, 2021 \u2013 July 12, 2021, Siti Komariah, a student of the Islamic Economics Program, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Islamic University of Indonesia (UII) batch 2018 has participated in a student exchange program at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) for 1 semester online through the Independent Learning Program. NUNI (PMBN). Initially Siti Komariah found out about the program from the Instagram post @ Ekonomiislam_uii, then she was interested and finally contacted Mrs. Soya Sobaya, SEI., MM as the Chair of the Islamic Economics Study Program.<\/span><\/p>\n

NUNI (<\/span>Nationwide University Network in Indonesia<\/span><\/i>) or a network of Indonesian universities which is a collaboration between public and private universities to strengthen the mobility, quality, and sustainability of higher education in Indonesia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The NUNI Independent Learning Program (PMBN) is a form of NUNI collaboration in implementing the Ministry of Education and Culture’s policy regarding the Independent Campus Independent Learning Program (MBKM). There are 14 universities participating in this program, namely Bina Nusantara University, Surabaya University, Muhammadiyah Malang University, Soegijapranata Catholic University, Sultan Agung Islamic University, Petra Christian University, Indonesian Islamic University, Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta, Parahyangan Catholic University, Padjadjaran University, Sanata Dharma University, Satya Wacana Christian University, Andalas University, and Maranatha Christian University.<\/span><\/p>\n

The document requirements that must be met to participate in the PMBN program are the registration form which can be downloaded via the link<\/span> https:\/\/nuni.mobi\/merdeka-learning\/<\/span><\/a> , photo (3×4) \u2013 pasted on the form, photocopy or scan of ID card, recommendation letter from home university (optional), photocopy or scanned latest transcript. Regarding the student exchange fee, the NUNI Independent Learning Program (PMBN) is free of charge (free).<\/span><\/p>\n

While participating in student exchange through the NUNI Independent Learning Program (PMBN), Siti Komariah took the Entrepreneurship course which is one of the courses in the Management Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy goal in joining PMBN is that I want to directly contribute to building academic excellence through student collaboration between State and Private Universities in Indonesia, especially the University of Muhammadiyah Malang.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to gaining new academic experiences, the NUNI Independent Learning Program (PMBN) also provides opportunities for students to compete with other students from 14 NUNI member universities in thecompetition <\/span>Call For Paper<\/span><\/i> with the topic The Future of Education: Student Voices from NUNI for Diversity and Indonesian Unity.<\/span><\/p>\n

I hope this program can inspire my life to continue to enrich my experience, knowledge and achievements that can awaken the enthusiasm of other students to take part in the NUNI Independent Learning Program (PMBN) for the next period,” said Siti Komariah.<\/span><\/p>\n
